111 — LOVE

“Love” in Drawn Back to Light refers to pure unconditional Love. So many books have been written about love and so many of them prattle on and on. Man has made love far too complicated. Children understand Love the best. When a child expresses love, it is pure—you can see it in their eyes. They intuitively understand the joy emitted by sharing pure Love.

But simply living life changes all of us. Layers of wounds cover the natural Love we came into the world with. Even though wounds hide the beautiful light that love naturally emits, our internal Light can never be completely extinguished.

Once we peel back the layers of past pain that living life has created, our Light can once again shine brightly. If only for a moment, I pray that anyone who has been hardened by life can be drawn back to the innocence of a child—drawn back to the Love they knew when they came into this world.
