The architectural angles of Sheldon form a minimalist abstract work of art. Combined angles, curves, and arches of this building create endless, shifting, sculptural works of light and shadow. Elegant simplicity holds true on the interior as well as the exterior. The light interior of the off-white travertine walls lends itself well to the extensive contemporary collection of art. Dark interiors of most art galleries feel uninviting, claustrophobic, and heavy; but not this gallery.

For its size, Sheldon is considered one of the finest art galleries in the nation, housing many notable contemporary classics. Sheldon and all it represents resonate with my artistic spiritual sensitivities, filled with the light that Drawn Back to Light references.
