43 - ST. PAUL’S STEEPLE
ST. PAUL’S STEEPLE
16 x 11 ½ inches
(The steeple on St. Paul’s Lutheran country church)
This grand church steeple rises with strength above St. Paul’s Lutheran country church. The German Lutherans built St. Paul’s when they settled their rural countryside. It was the center of their lives.
Three arches atop this steeple symbolize the Trinity as it points to the heavens. At times the Light seemed hidden beneath rigid rules, but with maturity and wisdom I learned that this fundamentalist background was a necessary component of my ensuing spiritual journey. All was perfectly choreographed to lead me to see more.
As my awareness evolved, I discovered that Light had always been present. It was simply waiting for me to understand. The contrasting black background symbolizes my rising awareness—a progression from darkness to Light.
