When days felt dark and heavy more than two decades ago, this welcome lighthouse beckoned. Life had become stormy; clarity had faded. Disappearing into painting calmed the surrounding tumultuous waves. Seclusion temporarily restored my inner peace.
Just as the keeper tirelessly ascended the spiraling staircase in solitude to light the way in the shadowy blinding haze, my own steps nudged me toward change.
